Types of Membership
Membership in the PWIA Pool is comprised of resident members and non-resident members.
Proprietary members are those members whose houses reside within the original 292 homes that comprised the Park Wilshire Improvement Association. If a member household is paid current on its annual dues and has not withdrawn or canceled its membership in the PWIA, then it shall be eligible to purchase the annual swim membership. Once a resident member has withdrawn or canceled their membership in PWIA, they shall not be eligible for re-admission to the PWIA until the ownership of the property changes. The new owner of the property shall have the right to join the PWIA as a resident member.

Associate Members of the PWIA Cabana Club are those people who live outside the PWIA development, but who pay the annual swim dues to participate in the swim season. The number of available non-resident memberships is dictated by the number of resident members who sign up for the swim membership on an annual basis. Non-Resident (“Associate”) Memberships are NOT transferable to another family. New Non-Resident members are selected from the wait list.
