Are you a member not receiving PWIA emails? Contact Communications via the “Contact Us” tab on the right of the page. Under “Details” provide your full name, preferred email address, mailing address, whether you are a proprietary (resident) or association (swim only) member, and your member ID number (on your membership card).
PWIA Community Message Board ~ Do you have a child who is looking for some babysitting or dog walking jobs this summer? Do you have a service that you provide that you would like to advertise at the pool? This year, we will have a new bulletin board posted inside the gates of the pool where you can post a flyer. Flyers will need to be approved by the board before being posted (to check for appropriateness, no political affiliation, etc). There will be a folder at the front desk, so if you have something that you would like to post, please ask a lifeguard to put it aside for you. I know there are many in the community who would love to hire a babysitter, dog walker, or private swim instructor, so get your info out there!!
- Board of Directors
Board of Directors
Skye Gordineer, President
I’m in my fourth term on the PWIA Pool Board. Previously, I was Secretary, Director of Lifeguard Administration, Director of Operations, and I’m excited to serve as President this year. During the summer you can find me and my three kids in the pool as often as we can!
Bonnie Higley, Vice President of Membership
This is my second year on the board. My husband Aaron and I along with our six kids have lived in the neighborhood for 7 years now, and we still pinch ourselves at how blessed we are to be amongst such amazing people.
Matt Brock, Treasurer
I’ve lived in the neighborhood since 2006 and I believe our neighborhood pool is a gem in our community. I’m honored to be a part of the board that ensures it thrives for generations to come.
Brian Long, Director of Lifeguard Administration
I am the newest member of the PWIA Board starting my first term. I’m thrilled to jump in and serve our community! You’ll often find me and my two girls at the pool, and I’m especially looking forward to helping everyone make a splash with their summer pool parties.
Nawaf Al-Baghly, Director of Pool Operations
This is my second year on the board. I’m eager to contribute to improving our community pool and begin working on it this off season. We moved to our home on Custer about 2-1/2 years ago, and have felt a warm welcome ever since. I’ve really enjoyed each pool season since moving here, and I’m excited for an even better one next year!
Sheridan Corrales, Secretary
This is my second year on the board. We moved into the neighborhood in 2021. I am a full time mom and teacher. I’ve been teaching elementary school for many years and LOVE spending time off in the summer at the pool with our two little ones. I am looking forward to helping out with community events and giving back to this amazing neighborhood community we already love so much!
Sarah Villalobos, Director of Communications
This is my third term on the board, serving most of it as as Director of Communications. (I just love GIFs!) I started the Halloween and Winter Holiday Decorating Contests and have spearheaded the Polar Plunge. I have lived in the neighborhood since 2015 and have 3 young boys. I enjoy working with the Board of Directors to help enhance and bring together the pool and neighborhood community. I look forward to seeing you at the pool this swim season.
Rebecca Crapo, Pool Manager
I am excited to return as the pool manager for my fourth year and look forward to seeing everyone this summer. I am originally from San Jose and have lived in Cambrian with my husband for the past 13 years. We have four kids who ask to swim every time it gets above 80 degrees, even in January.
